One of the truly unique features of The Great British Car Journey as a museum is that you are taken on the Journey by our amazing individual audio-visual device. Às a result every tour is a guided tour as the device reveals the nine chapters of the journey and the secrets of all the cars on display.
However, if you are coming as part of a large group (10 or more), it is possible to book a guided tour which still uses an audio device but the tour is led by a member of our immensely knowledgeable staff . Given enough warning, your guide may be Richard Usher who is the founder of the museum and a self confessed caraholic.
Your Guided Tour will last approximately an hour and gives you the chance to ask questions and get very close to the cars. After the tour ,you can of course use our device to unlock even more information.
If you want to make a day of your visit, you can of course enjoy breakfast and /or lunch in our licensed “Filling Station” Café where there is also a great selection of car merchandise.
