Great British Car Journey welcomes everyone and aims to make our site accessible to all. Our staff are always happy to assist in any way they can to give an inclusive experience as possible – please do not hesitate to contact us to discuss any special requirements or let us know how we can help

Visitors with disabilities are charged at the concession rate. Registered carers are admitted free of charge, but only when presenting relevant ID from a local council or private organisation or DLA/PIP letter showing proof of status on arrival on and only when the person being cared for pays full entry charge into Great British Car Journey. Tickets can be booked online or arranged ‘on the door.

Guide dogs are welcome at Great British Car Journey.

The Great British Car Journey car park is fully level with ramped access into the attraction. Inside, the attraction is all on one level with sufficient space for mobility scooters and wheelchairs. Seating is also provided throughout the exhibition.

There is signage throughout the exhibition informing visitors of the exhibits. There is also a Bluetooth Hearing Loop available for use with the exhibition’s audio visual guide. Please call ahead to ensure it is compatible with your hearing aid: 01773 317243.

The main car park is hard surfaced as are our overflow parking areas. Parking for Blue Badge holders is in the main car park, immediately beside Great British Car Journey entrance.

There are disabled toilets on site.

Filling Station Café and Gift Shop

Our café and gift shop are ground floor based and are accessible to wheelchair users. Doors open manually and staff are happy to provide assistance if needed.

Tables are not fixed and can be arranged to accommodate wheelchair users. Food and drinks are ordered at the counter and staff carry purchases to tables.
