The days when Dad had a big car and Mum had a little one are part of the quaint history of car ownership. The current crop of new cars on sale with the notable exception of expensive Supercars are probably the least interesting machines ever offered from an emotional viewpoint. So for anyone who has been a car owner for a few years, it would be quite natural to look back wistfully at the cars of the past which even with their manifest limitations somehow became part of the family.
A visit to Great British Car Journey is a perfect day trip for the whole family. Your tour guide is a tablet device onto which is loaded both an adult tour and one more suited to children who go on their own interactive journey.
These different tours combined with our Woodland Walks, Mini Land Rovers, Hot Wheels Track and the fact that the Great British Car Journey is indoors (so your day cannot be spoiled by the weather) make it the perfect location for a great winter family day out
There is also something for everyone in the family at The Filling Station Café which serves a great range of hot and cold food with barista coffee and local ice cream.
The onsite gift shop stocks a wide range of Hot Wheels cars which can be raced on our indoor track.
Finally , if you come on a day when our driving experience is operating , you can drive a Classic and the children can drive one of our electric Mini Land Rovers.
