School’s out and summer is in full swing, so if you’re looking for a brilliant day out that the whole family can enjoy, we’ve got you covered. From now right through to the 5th of September, children aged 10 and under can visit completely free, Monday to Friday. That’s right – free entry for the kids, so you can enjoy a fun and affordable trip without breaking the bank.
We’ve brought back our ever-popular Numberplate Hunt, perfect for keeping curious eyes busy. Kids love racing around the museum trying to spot all the hidden number plates on the sheet. Once they’ve found them, they’ll be entered into our weekly prize draw to win a brilliant Oxford model car worth £9.95. It’s a great way to keep little ones entertained while you enjoy the collection too.
New this summer is our Mini Land Rover Safari. This off-road adventure is made just for children up to the age of 10. For just £15, they’ll get to drive a scaled-down electric Land Rover on our dedicated track for 15 minutes. They get to feel like real explorers while you cheer them on from the sidelines.
And of course, don’t miss our Hot Wheels Riverside Raceway! It’s over 100 feet long and lets two cars race side by side down a steep bank, hitting scale speeds of over 200mph. Entry is just £10 and includes two Hot Wheels cars to keep, so the fun doesn’t stop when you leave.
And for slightly older children, we also offer our Junior Driving Experience in a real classic car! With one-to-one instruction from a qualified instructor, juniors can get behind the wheel in a safe and exciting way that they’ll never forget. It’s a brilliant introduction to driving and an unforgettable part of a day out.
