Zoe: our fully qualified Advanced Driving Instructor will be in the passenger seat and has dual controls just in case youthful exuberance is a bit too much in evidence.
Our beautiful 30th Anniversary Limited Edition Mini dates from 1989 but it is in tip top condition and has a rare automatic gearbox.
There is nothing like the original Mini : it handles like a go-kart and goes remarkably well and because its so tiny, it is the ideal car for youngsters to have a go in. 5.4 million Minis were made between 1959 and 2000 so they will always remember their drive in an absolute British legend.
A unique driving experience voucher aimed at children who really want to drive a classic car but are not yet old enough to get a driving license
- Children must be a minimum of 4ft 8” tall (the average height of a 10 year old)
- They will drive an Automatic Mini accompanied by a CRB checked and qualified instructor
- The Mini has duel controls so the instructor can take over if required
- They will drive on a private separately fenced off area of our experience.
- The experience will last for around 15 minutes
- There are 10 days to choose from when booking your drive
- Once a voucher is purchased you have 12 months to book your Junior Drive date
- You can buy high quality photo prints taken during the experience
- We also offer kids passenger rides if you think your child wants to go in a car but does not want to drive
After the drive your experience includes free entrance for your child to our award winning car museum and cafe which also has lots of child friendly facilities. Accompanying adult would have to buy separate admission tickets.
