Christmas At The Car Journey: Carols With The Cars
The great Sir William Lyons , founder of Jaguar Cars said, “The car is the closest thing we will ever create to something that is alive”, no doubt inspired by a drive in one of his wonderful cars.
Anyone with petrol in their veins will reminisce about drives when they have felt in harmony with a car on a favourite piece of road on a day of driving delight when the car felt alive and alert.
At Great British Car Journey, we know that like the toys in Toy Story, our cars share secrets and stories when the last visitors and staff have left the building.
Santa is coming for Breakfast on November 29th so to alert the cars to the approaching festivities, we are delighted to welcome the Belper Choir to the museum for a carol concert with the cars on November 28th. We know that the many Minis in the collection are particularly excited about Christmas as cassettes of Christmas music have been magically appearing on parcel shelves and in door bins.
So join us at Great British Car Journey from 6pm and browse the cars with the sounds of Christmas ringing out. Afterwards enjoy some festive fare in the Café and get into the spirit of Christmas.
