By March 30th 1951 when this cover appeared, spring and a slightly more cheerful mood are evident. Mum has been driving the family Minor, which is still a drab green colour, but there are clear signs that Winter is over. Dad is very pleased with the car and there is a bit more colour about. The Minor was becoming established as a market leader although times were still hard as the UK adapted to peacetime and a brave new world.
