Themed Events

As a truly interactive museum, telling a story of pioneering achievement in the UK, we are committed to both preserving our automotive heritage and celebrating the glories of its past and present.
On our themed days we encourage owners of particular makes and models to join us in creating a car park full of interest for our daily museum visitors to enjoy which also creates the opportunity for like minded classic owners to network with other like minded enthusiasts
We are always grateful to car clubs and classic owners all over the UK for their support in helping us stage these events and offer special rates for them to join in. Contact Ian Shaw on our events team for more details
On a Themed Event day visitors can just book tickets as normal but have the added benefit of being able car park full of additional classic cars. See below for a full list of themed events

Keats described Autumn rather romantically as the season of “mists and mellow fruitfulness” but it can also be the season of mud and extreme bogginess! Some ten years after the demise of the ‘classic’ Defender tracing its roots back to day-one we welcome all the traditional and modern sons of Solihull.

Herbert Austin died 85 years ago, 5 years after he was ennobled Baron Austin of Longbridge, the part of Birmingham which is synonymous with “The Austin” works. For over 80 years the Austin name adorned millions of cars which brought motoring to the masses.
