Perhaps slightly odd to advertise the Imp cornering in snow on this cover from November 15th 1963 as its main rival, the Mini, had front-wheel drive making it peerless in snowy conditions. Of course, the engine over the back wheels meant the Imp was no slouch in snow but it would require considerably more skill from the driver to cope with oversteer, as demonstrated by the concentration on this driver’s face.
