1932 MG Midget Metal Plate Print 20cm x 30cm

Despite the MG Girl cover (ACC11) being aimed at the female driver, this cover from August 12th 1932 is about as politically incorrect as it’s possible to be. Although one of the ladies is allowed in close proximity to the shooting action, the other is confined to the car which she is definitely not going to drive because its “a man’s car!” Whilst the car itself is undoubtedly splendid, the message is sexist at a time when women were taking to the wheel in enormous numbers.

  • 200 x 300 smaller direct printed onto Metal Plate
  • Vibrant sublimation print featuring rounded corners
  • Can be fixed to walls or used standalone
