Welcome to the Riverside Raceway at the Great British Car Journey your chance to race Hot Wheels cars down a 100 foot long banked track
In an ever more tech-driven world, there is something beautifully simple about little cars 1/64th the size of a real one whizzing down a plastic track powered by gravity
Our Riverside Raceway
Almost certainly the longest hot wheels track in the Midlands our raceway enables two hot wheels cars to race one another side by side achieving scale speeds of over 200 miles per hour along a downhill course which is over 100 feet long.
The raceway is situated outside the entrance to our interactive museum next to the picnic area & Mini Land Rover Experience on the banks of the River Derwent – be prepared for the race of your life!
You are free to use the cafe at any time and do not have to pay for Museum Entry but if you do want to do the museum tour you will get a 10% discount
Our Track
Our raceway is built from classic orange hot wheels track and is over 100 feet long, banked for speed and designed for side-by-side gravity powered racing.
Our track is outside so do bear in mind the weather conditions when planning your visit
