Great British Car Shows: Drive It Day 2027

Calling all classic car owners, motoring enthusiasts and lovers of Britain’s automotive heritage!

Join us at Great British Car Journey for Drive It Day 2027, as we celebrate the joy of getting behind the wheel, hitting the open road and keeping our motoring heritage alive!

Organised nationally by the Federation of British Historic Vehicle Clubs (FBHVC), Drive It Day encourages owners of historic vehicles to get their pride and joy out of the garage and onto the road, celebrating the incredible variety of vehicles that have shaped our motoring history.

And what better destination for your Drive It Day outing than Great British Car Journey?

Whether you’re arriving in a beautifully restored classic, a much-loved family favourite, a rare survivor or something a little more unusual, we’d love to welcome you!

We’re inviting classic car owners and enthusiasts from far and wide to join us for a fantastic gathering of vehicles spanning the decades. It’s the perfect excuse to enjoy a Sunday drive, catch up with fellow enthusiasts and celebrate the cars that mean so much to us.

And there’s plenty more to enjoy while you’re here! Explore over 150 classic British cars inside our interactive museum, discover some incredible motoring stories and enjoy a bite to eat in our Filling Station Café.
