Wonderful illustration of Camille Jenatzy in/on his ELECTRIC car called La Jamais Contente (the never happy) taking a new land speed record of 65.79 mph on April 29th 1899 near Paris. This was the first car to set a record over 60mph. The lightweight rocket shaped body was made of an alloy of Aluminium, Tungsten and Magnesium. It had two 25KW motors running at 200volts and giving around 68 bhp. La Jamais Contente can be seen at the car museum in Compiegne in Northern France
