Closest Bed and Breakfast 1.5 miles away

The Family Tree is a family run coffee lounge & tea room located in the beautiful Amber Valley on the banks of the picturesque River Derwent just outside the Peak District. 

It has four bed and breakfast rooms in our separate annex building. All have been lovingly restored and decorated to create a warm and welcoming feel.

Just like the other local accommodation this is minutes away from the Great British Car Journey in your car or a short walk if you are feeling energetic.

Closest Campsite in charming rural location 1.7 miles away

Set in the rolling hills of Derbyshire’s rich countryside. The Firs Club Campsite is immaculately presented with excellent facilities, and offers the peace and tranquillity you need to unwind, while boasting breathtaking views of the Derwent Valley Mills World Heritage Site. This is a popular touring base for the Derbyshire Dales and Peak District – leisurely walks in some of the most beautiful landscapes England has to offer are just some of many tourist and leisure experiences to be had.

Just 1.7 miles from our attraction it will take you less than 5 minutes to drive to us or you could even walk to us.

Boutique Spa Hotel in Matlock Bath 5.2 miles away

Nestled in the Derbyshire Dales this family friendly 12 acre site is a hidden gem, close to Carsington Water and the market towns of Ashbourne, Bakewell and Matlock making it an ideal base if you want to camp and visit our attraction.

It offers camping, caravanning in our camping field, hard standing pitches motor homes or even glamping pods that overlook their fishing lake stock with carp.

It will take you about 15 minutes to get to the Great British Car Journey.
